The short version

MakerCalcs tries to collect as little data as possible. You do not need an account to use the calculators. Most calculator inputs and results stay in your browser.

Calculator data

Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. In normal use, values such as sizes, margins, gaps, quantities, costs, and layout results are not sent to us.

Feedback

If you send feedback, we store the message you submit, the related page URL or tool name, and your email address if you choose to provide one. We may also store basic security information, such as a hashed IP value, browser user agent, and country header when provided by the hosting platform.

Your email is only used to follow up on your feedback or let you know about relevant improvements. It is not used for marketing.

Saved plans and exports

Saved plans are stored in your browser on the device you used. They may be removed if you clear browser data. Exported files, such as CSV or SVG files, are created for you to save and manage yourself.

Analytics and service data

MakerCalcs may use basic, privacy-conscious analytics and hosting logs to understand site usage and keep the service reliable. Calculator form contents, free-text feedback messages, prices, and full calculation snapshots should not be included in analytics events.
