Measure the final printed transfer boundary at the size you intend to apply, using width and height in the same unit as the sheet. Include transparent padding only when the supplier preserves it as part of the placed artwork box. Do not use the raw pixel dimensions without first confirming the intended print size and resolution.

Measure the production boundary
Use the outer boundary the supplier will place, not a screenshot or a design-program selection that excludes effects. Shadows, distressed marks, and small detached elements can extend beyond the main logo. If those pixels print, they belong inside the transfer rectangle.
For a proportional design, set the intended width and calculate height from the same aspect ratio. Record both dimensions to two decimal places when needed. Rounding every design upward is safer than rounding downward when the order is close to the sheet limit.
Pixels need a physical-size decision
Pixel dimensions describe image data, not an automatic print size. A 1500-pixel-wide file can print at several physical widths depending on the chosen resolution. Set the final inches or millimeters first, then use pixel resolution as an artwork-quality check rather than as the packing input.
